Home Page Not Showing – Only Blog page

When activiting this plugin, the home page is my blog page and the image on top is the featured image of the first blog on the page and it is distorted. How can I show my home page, with the image at the top? The desktop version appears to be better than the WPtouch mobile version. I know there must be a way to get the mobile version to show up correctly and work correctly – please advise.
