    Hi Zeeshan,
    You shouldn’t see an edit post link in the front end? Are you using a plugin for this? I couldn’t get your link to open. Can you check that the url is correct and post again?
    Thanks,

    Hannah

    hannah Sorry spelling url mistake while typing.
    My Site: https://zeeshannasir786.com.
    I am not using plugin for this. this template is beautiful. Normally every template show edit post link along with every post title and page title with every post and page in front page and other pages when login to the wordpress admin panel. But there seems to be no option of edit post or page in this template. When activate the other template the edit post and page link appear perfectly. But i like this theme i don’t want the other theme to activate. I have tried many themes before Virtue theme but Virtue theme is excellent and beautiful. theme options is fantastic.
    Thanks

    Hi:hannah this this is my favourite theme such a clean layout and no such great difficulty to handle this beautiful theme with tons of options very clean and my site looks perfectly but one thing i thing missing the there is no edit post in the front end and there are many posts in my front page but i cannot edit post in front end to edit post.

    The only times you should ever be able to edit your posts is when you’re logged in through your wp-admin. When you are logged in, you can either go through your menus to edit a page or post, or you can find an “edit post” or “edit page” option in the top bar when you view a page, but again, only when you’re logged in as an admin.

    Hey zeshankhanbwp,

    Forgive Hannah and Kevin, I think they misunderstood.

    Yes many themes do add this edit post link into each post. As the created I specifically left it out. My reasoning for doing so was to make it easier for site admins to see what the normal user is seeing. I felt it made for a less confusing setup and with the ease of being able to use the admin bar or backend I didn’t feel it was necessary.

    However if you would like to add something like that in you could using a child theme and overriding templates.

    You would just add this in:

    <?php global $post;
     echo get_edit_post_link( $post->ID);
    ?>

    HI Sir Kadence Themes thanks for understand me. You and your team support is excellent. special thanks for you for providing such a great theme and support. I thanks you will full of my heart. Also thanks for hannah & Kevin that they reply me.
    Actually Kadence Themes Virtue theme is neat, clean, many layouts, featured images are set perfectly, plenty of theme options. unlimited slider options. Best Theme ever for any type of site.
    Kadence Themes As mention from you(As the created I specifically left it out. My reasoning for doing so was to make it easier for site admins to see what the normal user is seeing. I felt it made for a less confusing setup and with the ease of being able to use the admin bar or backend I didn’t feel it was necessary) 100% right.
    I add the above php code in virtue child theme/Functions.php but unfortunately not working and found error 500. and my site stop working.
    However through c panel i remove that code to work my site perfectly.
    thanks
    zeeshan

    Hey,
    To clarify you don’t add that to the functions.php file you would add to each template that you wanted this edit to show up in.
