“Home” page of my website appeared a blank line on top after upgraded version

    I finished my website in WordPress version 6.1.3 very long time ago. I used hosting of Namesilo before, I upgraded the WordPress version once, then the “Home” page of my website appeared a blank line on the top. So I restored the WordPress from new version to version 6.1.3 again, finally everything became normal.

    Now I changed the hosting from Namesilo to SiteGround, the blank line appeared again after I migrated to new hosting. This problem can’t be solved now even though I downgraded the WordPress version from 6.3 to 6.1.3. The blank line is always there, how can I solve it? Thanks very much!

  • It’s blank because there is white text on a white background. If you press “ctrl + a” to select all (“apple + a” on a Mac) you’ll see the text revealed. Here is a screenshot.

    This appears to be a theme feature. The problem arising on the downgrading/upgrading of WordPress was likely just a coincidence or a minor side effect. The theme author might have a better idea as to what’s going on.

    At this point, it depends on how you want to proceed. Do you want to get rid of the top bar entirely? Or change the text color from white to black?

    We can help with Custom CSS although the white color is currently set with inline CSS, so a no-code customization option might be best to use here.

    @lelandf Do you mean you can help with Custom CSS? How should I do? I’m amateur, so I don’t know the meaning of “no-code customization option”, hope you can explain, thanks very much! I want to get rid of this blank and just show the background color same as other parts.

    @jawad1234 Problem is solved, I need Breadcrumb and I changed it to “Inside”, blank disapeared, thanks, bro!

    May I ask another question about the Breadcrumb? My Product page is made by woocommerce, I already QUICK EDIT this page Title & Slug from Shop to Products (picture: https://ibb.co/0BVjN6B), why the Breadcrumb of this page still shows Shop? (picture: https://ibb.co/qCWXLWK)
