Many thanks for that – now I’m thinking it must be a dns issue of some sort – my host made some changes a couple of hours ago. I will see what tomorrow brings – it perhaps is not fully resolved.

Sorry – slight delay while I flew from the UK to Tenerife – yahoooo – sun!!!!!

Well I have ruled out any dns issues, cleared cache, deleted god knows what in IE settings.

I’ve upgraded to IE10.

It works just fine in Firefox, Chrome etc. but not IE.

And just to add to the confusion, it’s not on all machines. It’s fine on my husbands laptop but not mine or my friends.

Any ideas?

It seems like it’s failing to load the correct 404 page.

If it works in all other browsers except IE, it is a problem with client’ cache

on all affected computer try to force to clear the cache on IE (Internet Options > Browsin history and check all you can (temp files, cookies, etc)

and on all of this computers run the further command prompt :

Windows start button
> Run (same as windows button + R)
> cmd
on the command prompt (on the black window) on each computers :
> ipconfig /flushdns

try again on the affected computer with IE

I didn’t know about the flushdns bit I followed your instructions but still the same.

Could you please do it a SCREENSHOT instead of copy & paste some texts ? It will be better to resolve the issue

but IF in other browser it is OK it is :

1. a cache problem
2. a CSS issue

dunno – that’s what it defaults to – I didn’t type it.

Could you try https://www.dencats.org/

or https://www.dencats.org/index.php

in the browser that has the issue
