Hi there, I’m v new to wordpress, I’ve installed your super looking theme, and I’m just trying to get it too look like the demo for starters. I’ve followed your documentation but my home page has ended up looking like this https://fatmangodesign.co.uk/home/
    Have you got any ideas?
    Many thanks

    Hello,

Looks like there are some recommended plugins missing.
Can you double check if all 3 recommended plugins are installed?

From looking in to your website we can see that plugin Page Builder by SiteOrigin isn’t working property, because when it’s disabled, our demo site gives similar look.

Hmm, it’s showing up as installed. I’ve tried disabling and re activating it now and re-doing the settings and still the same.

Also you should check if in Home edit page text editor is switched to page builder.

Yep, I see the drag/drop widgets there too

Ok it’s looking better now if you scroll all the way down. https://fatmangodesign.co.uk/home/

i had Home page attributes set to template – Front page. I’ve put it to default Template now.
THere is still the mess at the top but spot on half way down the page.

You can try to switch to text editor and delete everything, then switch back and add widgets.

I’m having the same problem, my home page went haywire after a WordPress update. I’ve made sure that the update installed properly (in the end) and I’ve tried reinstalling the Maskitto theme.

I’ve also tried your suggestions above and it’s improved slightly in that it’s now only scrambled within the content box instead of all over the screen. I’ve tried removing my home page completely and starting again. The result of doing this is that the old scrambled home page now sits on top of the new working home page:

    https://gazelles.esy.es/

I can’t get rid of all the erroneous content that is squashed into the top of the home page now as I don’t know why it’s there or where it’s coming from!

*It’s also worth noting that I cleared out my page bin too just in case.

When I set my page template to ‘Front Page’ the content explodes everywhere and you can’t see the organised content underneath the mess. When I select default content I get what you see now (be sure to scroll all the way down).

Yes, its plugin PageBuilder by SiteOrigin issue.
At this moment it’s not recommended to use its latest version.

    Hi Everyone

I’m the developer of Page Builder.

Is this issue related to the latest update (2.1.1) or just the 2.1 update of Page Builder? We released an update today that fixed a couple issues people were having.

Once I’ve confirmed versions, I’ll take a proper look and try fix the issue. Very sorry about the issues. Hopefully we can get everything fixed up as soon as possible.

    After 2.1.1
We just tested 2.1 and everything works as expected.

    2.1 can be downloaded here.

Same issue here after the update.

Thanks for uploading 2.1, will post details after testing!

I can confirm that after uninstalling Page Builder and installing from the 2.1 package you linked above the site is back as it was.

Thanks for the great support ??

Thanks @shufflehound. I’m busy testing with your theme to see what might have happened. I’ll post here as soon as I’ve figured it out.

@shufflehound – would it be possible for you to give me some steps to recreating the issue? I can’t replicate it in my development environment. Maybe you could send me an export file for the page that’s having the issue.
