Home page showing problem

Home page showing problem. I set up new page as home page in settings > reading > static page > new page selected, but the new page is not showing as home page of the site. I tried to fix by deactivating plugins but no issue with plugin but when I change theme, the problem is solved. I faced same in 2 – 3 sites using generatepress theme so the the Home page showing problem with generatepress theme.
