Home page shown only in primary language

    Hi!
    I am new to Polylang, but after some fiddling around I think I have cracked the paradigm. I got all the pages up in Swedish and English, as well as menus, widgets, etc.
    My only remaining issue is the static start page. It displays in Swedish even when I switch to English using the switcher.
    Yes, I have translated the start page in the normal fashion.
    The theme is Coworking Space. It has a slightly funny start page, with content fields that no other pages have. So I suspect my problem may be related to the theme. But still, I would have expected to some version of the English start page to show. Even with the URL indicating I am looking at the english one, I still just see Swedish content. I have suspected some redirect setting, but having played with this also, I still see no improvement.
    Any ideas are much appreciated. I am not prepared to modify PHP (for maintainability).
