Home page shows full post not summary

    I installed the child theme and now I can’t get the home page to show a summary rather than the full post. I went to settings – reading and it is on summary. I saved changes again but it’s still showing the full posts. I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.

  • sorry for late reply… did you insert a “More Tag” into your post where you want it to split your post? This is done from the editor and the More tag button.

    Thanks, that worked. In the parent theme it was like that already but didn’t do it with the child theme.
