Home page slider options

    I am in the process of installing Ultimate Slider on my site. I want the slider to appear only on the home page. The default seems to publish it to every page. I do not see an option for limiting it to the home page.

    Also, I would like a headline and a line or two of text to be published above the carousel. Does that need to be a separate block, or can it be integrated in the slider?

    Hello sunandwindfarm,

    Could you try displaying the Ultimate Slider by using the shortcode, instead of the widget, and see if it makes a difference?

    You would need to go to Appearance > Widgets > remove the Ultimate Slider Widget from the Widget Area and then go to Pages > home page add [ultimate-slider] shortcode to the content.

    You would probably want to put additional text in as a separate block.

    Please disregard the response I previously listed. It was for a separate problem I had with another plugin. I mistakenly thought you were responding to that! ??
