I have the yoast plugin on my site. I have a focus keyword for each page and an individual title and description on each page. On all the pages on the website this reflects the same on a google search. However the home page title and description displayed on a google search is not as it should be (as i set it in the home page). It picks up the page title from the general settings ‘site title’ and the description is picked up from what should be the home page title (as i set it in the home page). I cannot understand why it is not picking up this from the home page itself. Please can you help. It is driving me CRAZY!

see this link (it is dreamlux under the map)

  • same problem…any solutions meanwhile?

I’ve got, I think the same problem. In the html, the field “og:description” is not the one I provided for my front page but the one of another page.
And if I delete this other page, Yoast picks up the description from yet another one, but never the one provided for the front page.
All the other og: fields are correct, but not og:description.
Looks like a bug to me…

    but no solution till now?
