    Hello,

I need some help with my fukasawa theme!

I enabled Infinite Scroll, Carousel and Tiled Galleries. After create a new Page I click on Add Media I add some Images and then, say Create new Gallerie. But the result is very different from the demo, I can’t find the ‘pre-saved’ grid in the model.
I’m sorry, I’m learning wordpress for myself, trying to understand how the masonry of this theme works!

    Hi @a2lyne,

The masonry layout is only used on the archive pages in the theme – you can’t use it on a sub page. There are block plugins that add Masonry blocks with their own layouts (the tiled gallery in Jetpack is one of them), but those masonry galleries will look different than the archive pages in Fukasawa.

    Thanks for your answer!

If I understand correctly, the home page of the demo is an archive page? How can we create this type of page?

And if i want to create an other page with a masonry gallery, so I have to use a plugin, like jetpack, or post grid, is that correct?
    Thanks again!
Fukasawa theme is very elegant, and I love it!

@a2lyne I’m glad you like it! Yes, the masonry layout (as seen on the front page of the demo site) is only used on archive pages.

Go to Settings → Reading. If “Your homepage displays” is set to “Your latest posts”, your homepage will display your archives with the masonry grid. If it’s set to “A static page”, the page set as the “Posts page” in the next setting will be the archive page with the masonry grid.

If you don’t have a page set as the “Posts page”, select one in the dropdown and save, and then the page you selected will be used.

If you want to use a masonry gallery in the content of a regular page you’ll have to install a plugin for it, correct.
