    Having an interesting issue, I update the home page title, and it does not update on site. I’ve cleared cache, I’ve checked it in the database (where it shows correctly), and tried multiple browsers. You can see in the screen shot that the title entered and the google preview don’t match. When I visit the site on any browser, I get the incorrect title (the one that matches the google preview, not the title actually entered).

    Any thoughts?

    We understand you have an issue where you’ve set a specific value in the SEO title field for your homepage, but it is not reflecting as expected in the Google Preview, is this correct?

    Just to clarify, you’re expecting the ‘By Telus’ to show up in the Google Preview for the title, right?

    Can you please try resetting our indexables in the database tables by following the steps below?
    1. Install & activate the?Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
    3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations’. The page will reload to confirm that each reset was successful. Note: Resetting the optimization doesn’t undo any of the hard work you’ve put into the plugin as the SEO data is also stored in WordPress’ default tables. It’ll just reset the custom Yoast tables that contain the combined data pulled from those default tables.
    4. Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your?content.

    Could you then check if the SEO title then appears correctly in the Google Preview as well?
