• Resolved christhomas1966

I recently upgraded to WordPress 3.0 and also upgraded my Magazine Basic theme.

Everything works fine and dandy except for some reason my home page now being https://www.palacemag.co.uk it is now palacemag.co.uk/tester which I do not know how to change.

I created a page or a post as ‘tester’ some time ago and deleted it.

I dont know if this problem is with the theme or wordpress and I want to delete this annoying ‘tester’.

    Hope someone can help.

    Thanks

    Hi esmi

    Thanks

Try decativating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Default theme (WordPress 2.9) or the Twenty Ten theme (WordPress 3.0) to rule-out a theme-specific issue.

    Thank you so much James.

It was my Redirection plug-in for 301 redirects and monitoring 404 errors.

Now my final question (I’ve tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it). Should I live without it?

    Thanks again.

    Chris
