In reply to: [NSFW] [Twenty Twenty-Two] TT2 seems to brake the jquery codeThanks for sharing that other thread. Yes, the issue is similar, but like your report above, it’s not necessarily an issue with Twenty Twenty-Two —?it appears to be a conflict with all block themes, and would need to be solved in WordPress itself, or in the plugins individually. I’d recommend waiting for the plugin authors to address the issue.

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Two] Featured Image HeightThe problem with your existing “Featured Image” is image is of fixed height… So, most of my images will be displayed without head/feet.
Hi there! In the default templates, the featured image are not using a fixed height, so portrait images should work just fine:
If you’re using a different template or pattern, you have a couple options to avoid cropping. First, if there’s a custom height defined you should see “Scale” options in the right toolbar. If you select “contain” there, then the featured image won’t crop. Alternatively, you can clear all size settings for the block by deleting the values, or by selecting “Reset all” in the ellipsis menu as shown here:
Can you create a “Feature Image” that can take external url
The design + development teams have discussed changes to what constitutes a “Featured Image”, but this feature is not available at this point:

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Two] Insert menu in footer1. How to insert a menu title above the menu?
2. If I insert several menus, they come one under another and make the page look clumsy and long. How do I organize menus in the shape of columns to have, for example, three columns with a menu in each column in the footer. In the Site Editor, you can add add blocks wherever you wish. To add a title above your menu, just add a Heading block before your Navigation block. If you’d like to separate menus out into columns, add a Columns block, and place a Navigation block in each column.
The concept of the Site Editor is very new — if you’re interested in learning more about how to use it, this resource might be of use to you:

I hope that’s helpful!

Thanks for the link —?I can see the issue.
I see that these embeds on that page are placed inside of Code Blocks. Are you sure that’s necessary? When I embed that YouTube link directly, it scales as expected on mobile:
I’m not sure about the Aparat videos though, because the editor doesn’t support direct embeds from there by default.

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Two] How to add a separate widget area?Hi there! As a theme that’s built for the new Site Editor, Twenty Twenty-Two does not include traditional “Widget Areas”. Instead, as @harry-hobbes noted, you can use the Site Editor to add widget blocks wherever you’d like in any template. Here’s an introduction to the Site Editor in case you’re not familiar:
Also, in case it’s helpful, the theme does ship with some Block Patterns that are reminiscent of traditional sidebars or widget areas. For example, here’s a video showing how to add a left sidebar via the theme’s “Blog Posts with Left Sidebar” pattern:
I hope that’s helpful!

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Two] Support for elementor header and footerHi there!
This theme is not supporting elementor and elementor pro header and footer creation. While creating custom header and footer with elementor pro, it will not allow to edit with it and gives an error “You can’t edit it”.
I suggest you ask about Elementor support over in the Elementor plugin support forum. Elementor is not natively supported by Twenty Twenty-Two or any of the default WordPress themes.
https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/elementor/
Also how can we can add/edit widgets and create menu and assign pages/post etc? Because this theme is not allowing to access navigation menus, widgets, customize options etc. directly from Appearance menu that rest of the themes provides.
Great question. Twenty Twenty-Two uses the new “Full Site Editing” features built into WordPress 5.9. Instead of the traditional Widgets, Customizer, and Menu interfaces, these settings can be accessed from within the new Site Editor. You can read more about these new features here:
I hope that’s helpful. Please let me know if there’s anything else we can do for you!

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Two] Customize Button Results In ErrorsHi there! A couple followup questions:
1. Where are you clicking the Customize button? Assuming you’re using WordPress 5.9, block themes generally use the Site Editor for site customization, not the Customizer. As a result, most links to the Customizer will have been removed, unless you have a plugin installed that specifically makes use of the Customizer.
2. Related to that, do you have any other plugins installed on the site? If so, have you tried this with those deactivated?
Thanks!
Hi there! In my testing, there is no “Continue Reading” button by default for posts in the main homepage feed. But if use the Site Editor to add custom “Read more” text here, then the link will appear and work as usual:
https://cloudup.com/ccd9k0sXvm8
Is that what you’re seeing? I believe that’s how the theme and post excerpt block are designed to work.
Hello! Thanks for the report.
Additionally, the link to Next page → has a slightly smaller font than to ← Previous page
This is something you can edit in the Site Editor. In any template that uses pagination, select the Previous Page or Next Page block, and then change the font size on the right:
https://cloudup.com/cXOLKKbL6bH
These do not stay in sync, so you’ll need to select the same size for both if that’s what you want.
As for the numbers, unfortunately the editor does not yet support customizing the size or spacing yet. I’ve opened an issue here to track this enhancement:
Hello. IFrames and out-of-frame photos are displayed on the mobile and are not automatically adjusted to the size of the mobile screen.
Hi there! Looking at your site, it appears that the problematic embeds are all within the WooCommerce description panel. Is that correct?
I tried adding similar embeds to a Twenty Twenty-Two test site without WooCommerce, and they worked just fine on mobile. So I suspect that this may be an issue with the way WooCommerce’s tabs layout works with Twenty Twenty-Two. If so, I’d suggest asking about this over in the WooCommerce plugin’s forum:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce/
The language of my site is Persian and right to left. Do I have to use a new css?
Your site’s text should flow right to left automatically when you have the Persian language selected. I see a lot of right-to-left text on your site currently, is there a specific area that’s not appearing as expected?
Thanks!

Hey there! From what I can tell, those errors are likely all coming from the MapPress plugin. It looks like you’ve reported this over in the MapPress forum, so I’d wait and see if it can be fixed there.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Two] Image Block PositioningHi there! Can you share more details about where you’re inserting the image? Is it in the post/page editor, or in the Site Editor? And are you trying to place it inside of any other blocks?
Sometimes the alignment settings are contextual, and are designed not to show up when they’ll have no visible effect.
Hi there! Global Styles and the block editor do not currently support changing the font family used for all headings. As per comments in the Block Editor’s GitHub project, this will be addressed in a subsequent release:

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Two] No AMP support?Hi there! Traditionally, WordPress’ default themes don’t tend to include built-in AMP support. Instead, that’s handled by the AMP plugin:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/amp/
I’m not sure if the plugin supports Twenty Twenty-Two at this stage, but if not you might try asking in the forums for that plugin.

Thanks!
