Homepage Carousel on Mobile

  • Found bug – clicking on carousel images on mobile does not open the link to corresponding portfolio item. It is working on regular desktop browsers.

    Also a question: I have the carousel set to display all portfolio items, but it seems to only show a select few (it seems to be most recently updated few but I’m not sure?). How can I get it to shuffle all of them or maybe instead make certain items “sticky”?

    Which mobile device are you using?

    as for you question. Portfolio posts in the free version are ordered by the numbers set in each portfolio item. (in the attributes there is a menu order). They default to 0 and then date takes next order. So if you want to make some “sticky” put the number to -5 for example and they will show up first.

    I should also note that the portfolio carousel only captures the first 6 items.

    I get the same result for themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue/ – the “Featured Projects” carousel links don’t do anything. I am on a Samsung Galaxy S3 in Chrome browser.

    I just tried it on the Samsung browser and the links do work there so I guess it is a Chrome thing.

    Weird. I’ve tested on mobile chrome with iphone and it works fine.

    It doesn’t work on a Nexus phone with Chrome either… oh well I guess, who knows. Thanks for trying!
