When I visit my website After The Show, I sometimes see a strange display — all the text and images appear to be left justified, and the horizontal menu bar is gone and is now just vertical text.

It almost looks like the page is displaying in a mobile theme (how it would look on a cell phone). I’ve been using Safari when this happens, not sure if the browser matters.

Any ideas? Thank you so much!

  • What theme are you using? Where did you download it from? Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

I’m using Pilcrow theme. Maybe this is a Bluehost rather than www.ads-software.com issue?

I’m not sure how to replicate the problem but here are 2 screenshots of the problem:

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Thanks esmi. So I deactivated all the plugins and that resolved the problem. I re-activated every plugin and found the problem — W3 Total Cache.

I’m surprised because W3 Total Cache seems to be a really popular, legit plugin. Does that mean I can’t use the plugin anymore?

Not necessarily. There could be a plugin conflict. What happens if you deactivate all plugins except W3 Total Cache?

Great question. When I deactivate all plugins except W3 Total Cache, I have the same problem again. So I guess the problem is just the W3 Total Cache plugin.
