Homepage does not show latest posts

    Hi,

    I just noticed my blog is not displaying the most recent posts on the homepage, but posts from a random category? The most recent posts are accurately displayed by the right sidebar widget under “Recent Post”. Also, I’m still waiting to get help regarding the homepage displaying too many posts when I have set the limit to no more than 6. I even tried switching themes to see if the problem is associated with just Kale, but it doesn’t seem to be. Any idea what could be causing this? It all started after I installed Kale though.

    Thank you for contacting us and for using our theme.

    Sorry about this issue.
    The WordPress default behaviour is to show the recent posts from the latest to the oldest and that actually can’t be changed anywhere in the options. If your website acts differently, that is almost certainly caused by some plugin conflict.

    I think I’ve already asked you in that other thread to open a support request by going to https://www.lyrathemes.com/support/ because we’d need access to your Dashboard to resolve these issues and we are not allowed to ask for the login credentials here, as per forum rules.

    Thanks for the reply. I did contact the https://www.lyrathemes.com/support/ team and sent them my log in info, but they never got back to me after the initial contact.

    After noticing that other themes were behaving like Kale, I decided to look in my dashboard and discovered that somehow 18 posts had been added to the “sticky” category. I have unstuck them and this has resolved the issue.

    Thanks again! I like Kale’s look and functionality, so glad I get to keep it.
