Homepage does not show updates and recent posts

  • It was just yesterday that I was able to update to the latest version of WordPress on my other site- https://www.elaine.renable.org. However, I am now having a problem and I do not have any idea how to solve it. In the first place, I do not even know what went wrong.

    My home page does not update!

    For instance, I would have a new post, the new post will not appear on the homepage. But if I click on the archives and other page, like the May 2008 posts, it does show. It just do not display on the homepage itself.

    I tried to change my theme just now. When you visit the homepage, it will not display the new theme but when you try on clicking the other pages, the new theme would show.

  • this sounds like a caching issue. I see your new posts on your main page… as well as a script that almost never ends, being loaded from yahoo’s servers.

    Do you have any caching plugins installed? – if not, then consider clearing your browser’s cache and seeing how you go from there.

    Any solution ??
    i am also having this problem..

    I have the same troubles…

    I keep posting new posts, but they don’t show up on the homepage.
    Eventough the reading settings are set on “new post on homepage”.

    This has not to do with catching… I tried to clear caching, it’s a another problem.

    Somebody may know a solution?

    When I visit my site from within admin, it shows the home page right sometimes especially when I have recently updated a post. But then it again falls back to the same irrational behavior after some time when I try to open the site by putting its address in the browser address box.

    Is there anyone who knows anything about it?

    Isn’t there any wordpress support available that looks into the matter?

    This is SO ANNOYING! I only noticed mine is not updating so that’s 4 posts I have made in the last 2 weeks, none of which show up unless I am logged in as admin, in any browser, on any platform, cache cleared or not.

    Surely someone must know how to sort it out! If I know the URL of the actual post I can put that in and it shows OK… any answers?
