Homepage header

  • Hello
    I want to include a logo at the top of the homepage and not have the site title or tagline. The space closes up. Similar to the Voltata theme example with the cat illustration.

    Hello,

    Try to include this in your custom CSS:

    .site-branding{
  margin-bottom:30px;
}

    You can of course in/decrease the pixels as you wish.

    I’ve tried this and crashed my site.. I went back and deleted it but the site still isn’t working. Suggestions?

    To which file did you add the CSS? Please include a link to the site.

    I think it was the header.php page, I had someone come and fix it for me as it required FTP backup and deleting the code I’d added.

    Hello,

    Okay, as a rule of thumb: you should never edit the theme files, always create a child theme or use a plugin like Simple Custom CSS if you simply wish to add some custom CSS.
