• On my website [Moderated: Redundant link removed] I have set a static page as homepage. I can update the page and it will show to any logged in user.

    But not to a non-logged in user. To a non-logged in user It shows a homepage like it was more than a year ago.

    I have tried the following wthout result:
    – Cleared cache,
    – Deactivated cache plugin, and all other plugins.
    – Tried on different PC’s, inside and outside my home network, so different IP adresses.
    – Checked mobile
    – Updated all plugins and thheme
    – Switched themes

    PLease help as this is frustrating for potential visitoprs and google ranking.

    Please post a screen shot of what it looks like to you, so I can see how what I see differs (if at all). Put the screenshot in imgur.com and paste a link to that here.

    This is the link to a screenshot of the lower part of the homepage when logged in.

    You seen the blue line, the number and the logos above are different. Also the large image with the corona virus halfway on the homepage should not be there.

    That’s what I’m seeing, too.

    Clear your cache. I see you’re using W3TC, so clear that.

    That is what you would expect, but I am not using W3TC anymore for about a year or so. i deleted the plugin.
    I also de;leted this line in the wp-config.php file that was still there
    /** Enable W3 Total Cache */
    define(‘WP_CACHE’, true); // Added by W3 Total Cache
    How can I clear cache now?

    I see this at the bottom of your home page’s source:

    <!--
    Performance optimized by W3 Total Cache. Learn more: https://www.boldgrid.com/w3-total-cache/

    Page Caching using disk: enhanced

    Served from: www.webclass4u.nl @ 2020-09-02 16:27:22 by W3 Total Cache
    -->

    Look at the date!

    Try reinstalling W3TC, clearing the cache, disabling caching, deactivating, then deleting the plugin. If that doesn’t solve it, I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/w3-total-cache/#new-post so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

    You are seeing: …… 600 tevreden cursisten….. in the current version it says ….700 tevreden cursisten… in blue text

    Thread Starter marcel.felix

    (@marcelfelix)

    Ah sounds like a good idea. I will try that.

    Thread Starter marcel.felix

    (@marcelfelix)

    Almost there…
    I installed w3TC and it asked already to clear cache, which I did then it was already resolved. I could see the current version in logged out situation.
    So I deactivated the plugin an deleted it.

    But it now it locked again on the current version, so new updates from now on are not shown anymore.
