homepage jS problem after 3.1 Update

    Hey there
    I’m running “TheStyle”theme and after updating to 3.1 I got a problem in the homepage.
    The previews should overlap on the others and there’s a space in between posts in the home page.

    This is the problem:

    anyone know what kind of file do I have to edit to make this work as it worked ?
    I don’t have any recent backup sadly so downgrade is not an issue

    okay after some research I found that the homepage relies on jquery and jquery got an update. Does someone know how to update jquery for my theme ?

    okay after some more digging i found the solution
    the problem is that thestyle uses hoverIntent r5
    and it relys on an old version of jquery. 2007.03.27 // jQuery 1.1.2+

    solution: replace your /wp-includes/js/ of 3.1 with the ‘js’ folder of your old wordpress backup. works like a charm. no more updates for me
