• Hi Guys,

I have been using Swift plugin now for over 12 months on around 20 sites. Something that I keep seeing on all sites when I use this plugin is the homepage disappearing from the warmup table.

When I first install the plugin I use the Auto Config settings. Everything installs and runs correctly. All pages get found, added to the warmup table and cached correctly. The Homepage is at the top of the warmup table with a Prebuild Priority of 10. Everything looks right.

However upon returning to the site at a later time (usually after some weeks) I notice the homepage is no longer at the top of the warmup table. It appears to have disappeared.

In actual fact if I sort by Prebuild Priority I find that the homepage is right at the end of the list. However now it has no Prebuild Priority listed, is not cached and has no details of the last Cache date. At this time if the Cache is cleared the homepage disappears from the warmup table altogether.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe the automatic updating of plugins as performed by Softaculous in cPanel may have something to do with it. The issue only seems to occur after a period of time and the only change that happens during that time is that either this plugin or other plugins/themes/WordPress get updated.

Looking forward to hearing a response on this issue?
    Thanks

  • Same problem here. A client wrote yesterday that why is PageSpeed score is so low. Turned out the homepage was not in Warmup Table.

    Following the thread.

Have the same problem, I′d love to know how to fix that!

    Same issue here, following thread.

    Hello!

    Did anyone get a solution?

    I have the same problem

Sorry no, no solution for me. It′s trying my nerves and my decision to buy their pro version is far off right now.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Too bad, I was considering purchasing the pro version

I saw this comment from a plugin moderator on another topic

”Optimize Prebuild Only enabled an Optimize in Background disabled? ”

    I’ll do a test …

@renanbernei – What other topic thread did you see this comment? It does not really make sense to me.

I have checked my settings and they are as follows:
    – Optimize Prebuild Only: Enabled
    – Optimize in Background: Disabled

But, homepage not in warmup table is still happening.

Also I agree, why would I pay for Pro when the free version has this bug..

It is sad as apart from this downfall, I find it the best for speed performance. But if the Homepage is not optimized then what is the point?

”Optimize Prebuild Only enabled an Optimize in Background disabled? ”

Didnt work, the main page still falls out of caching and has to be removed and the link added again or reset of the warm up table.

    But thanks for the info!

Yes, it really doesn’t make sense

I searched extensively on the subject, the only topic we were on, and this one:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/homepage-loses-its-cache-after-a-few-minutes-and-disappears-from-the-warmup/

    @pressedwords Exactly.

Unfortunately I can’t find another plugin that optimizes so well, but this problem is very annoying and it doesn’t seem that the developer has bothered to solve it.

Here for me after 24 hours of the reset the problem reappears.
    With you too?

    Hi Guys

I received feedback from the plugin developer:

    Hi Renanbernei,

Yes, it is a known issue in 2.1.8
Please update to 2.1.9 and reset Warmup table, it will solve the problem.

    Regards,
    Peter

Well that′s nice, it′s just a matter of that small detail that the plugin is at 2.1.3. He′s talking about their pro version i guess. Not the one I use.

    @renanbernei – Thanks

The problem is that Free Version’s latest Version is 2.13. No updates pending.

So it sounds like the issue was fixed in their Paid version but not the Free version.

Maybe you can ask them when they will fix their free version too?

    Yes! unfortunately…

    I asked them that question.

I am tempted to buy the pro.
but, after the 1 year license expires, does the plugin stop working or just stop update?
