Homepage: Latest Post Not Working

Shortly after I updated to the new version of wordpress I was no longer able to see the articles on my homepage. The only image I could see was my banner and my megamenu. I currently have my homepage set to static page where i can see the text.

I’ve tried deactivating all plugins and reinstalling wordpress. Still no changes. I would rather my homepage be set to recent post and not the ABOUT US page.
