Hello, I’m experiencing an issue with the Yoast breadcrumbs. The Home link in the breadcrumbs keeps showing ‘https://www.domain/home/‘, while it should display the homepage link without ‘/home/’. Does anyone know how to fix it?

    Thanks!

    Hello @customprecious,

Thanks for reaching out about your breadcrumbs trail. In WordPress > Pages > All Pages, do you have two pages named Home? In WordPress > Settings > Reading, can you also confirm that your homepage is set to display the correct Home?

    Hello Maybellyne,

I’ve confirmed the two, they all seem to be set up properly. Could you please provide me with your email address? I’ll add you as an administrator to help resolve this issue. Does that sound workable?

    Thanks,

    Vega

    Hello Vega,

Please edit the homepage and navigate to the Yoast SEO meta box. Can you confirm if the canonical URL field is filled out? If yes, please ensure it is empty.

We do not provide personalized support in the WordPress forum; you could consider a Yoast SEO Premium subscription.

    Hello Maybellyne,

In the Yoast SEO meta box of my homepage, I added “home” to the slug position. When I reload the page, the “home” text disappears, and the breadcrumbs of the homepage are displayed normally without “/home/”.

    Thanks for your help.

    Vega
