Homepage loading old theme

  • The homepage of the website when opened loads the old theme. But when I refresh it, the new theme loads. This is happening on the home page only.
    Cleared all caches, tried multiple browsers and devices. Even removed and reinstalled wordpress with default theme, but the issue persists.

    Note – Clicking on the link works fine. But if the website is opened directly from the browser or while navigating from Google, the Homepage alone loads the old theme.

  • 1) Are you using any caching plugins? Please try clearing cache in those plugins. You can also try disabling those plugins.
    2) Did you try clearing cache from your hosting account?
    3) Are you using CDN? Did you try disabling, clearing cache and then enabling the CDN?

    4) You should also try disabling all plugins and check if that solves the issue.

    Tried these. Still doesn’t work.

    Wordpress was uninstalled and reinstalled.

    All plugins deleted.

    There is no content on the site. Just a standard 2020 WP theme.

    The issue is still there.

    Confirmed with hosting provider. There is no malware.
