Homepage not showing properly

    I downloaded Wen-Business theme and tried to install this theme by following the “readme” file. I use a child theme and imported the wen-business-sample-data.xml. But by importing this xml file nothing changed to the theme. When I setup the slider, I am stuck when I need to select a category
    in Appearance – Featured slider. I can’t select any category. The “Business Slider” is missing.

    I didn’t have problems when setting up the homepage, but I do when setting up the widgets. When adding the Latest news widget, I can’t again select a category. Features isn’t listed.

    I was wondering if I don’t need to use “Featured Page Widget” to use “Featured Page Images” for the slider. But when I do that I get three images under each other, so no slide.

    What do I wrong? What should I do to have the same home page as the one in the demo?

    By your description it looks like the demo content was not imported properly.

    Can you please explain to us from where did you download the democontent from and how did you use it?

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply. I downloaded your theme from WordPress. After downloading I started to customize my page and made a child theme, using child theme configurator. I had some trouble with the child theme; some files where not downloaded correctly or were missing. I removed the plugin and redownloaded. When the child theme seemed to work properly, I started customizing the homepage. Because of the problems with the homepage and the slider, I changed themes, removed your theme and redownloaded it. However, I keep on having this problem. Could it be the child theme plugin that causes the problem?

    i’m having trouble getting the page i spent all this time creating to show up on the site. It keeps saying “not found” on home page
