• This is probably a n00b error but I can’t get my homepage to load when I’m not signed in.

When I am signed in, my downloaded theme and logo appear.

When I am not signed in, I see https://spyderscripts.com/brookview/ which is what showed up out of box saying it’s just another wordpress site and a potted plant. My theme has a picture of a school on it.

The page I updated is the default homepage. When I click live preview, it shows me the page I am expecting to see. When I sign out and look at the site, I see this OOB one instead.

What am I missing where I can get my updated view to display?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Your host uses “endurance page cache”. There should be a button on the admin bar (at the top of the page when you’re logged in) that lets you clear that cache. I suspect this is a caching problem.

    Hi Steve,

That’s what I thought, too. I have purged the page cache and purged all cache quite a few times now and I’m still seeing what I should be when I am signed in, but the page I see before is the one that’s out of box.

Update: Actually what I just noticed is if you click any of the navigation links, the page then loads with the big school logo on it (which is what I want). It’s just the landing page that’s different.

Is there a setting for the landing page I need to change so it loads my logo and theme?

You may want to ping hostgator tech support. I see the default 2017 homepage when I visit your site.
