Homepage not translated

  • Hi,
    I’m trying to translate my homepage to Polish. The homepage is set-up using the themes “Front Page Template” and customized through the WordPress customizer.
    When I try to edit the text through the customizer for the polish homepage the text on the English homepage also changes. It appears as there is only one homepage for all languages.
    How can I translate the homepage?

    Hi

    Polylang does not modify the content of your pages which are separated *unless* you activated synchronizations. For example if you activated the synchronization of custom fields, Polylang will do what’s synchronization means, i.e. maintain the same custom fields values across languages. If you have some translatable content stored in custom fields, this option may not be for you.

    So, can I simply deactivate the “Custom fields” in syncronization settings?
    I’ve deactivated the the setting but sill have the same problem.
