homepage portfolio not working

You would need to use a plugin like page builder for the fullwidth section and a slider plugin for the slider part.

also how do i make it full width, you can see how the slider and top bar and not fullwidth, would this have something to do with the @media css, i had a friend do most of the coding =, the rest im working out myself

You just need to create a row and set the row layout to full width stretched.

You can make the home page static and use pagebuilder.

Settings > reading.

I’m sorry i’m not sure what you mean by the menu. You can assign a menu to your site in the apperance > menus page. Is that what you mean?

Hi sorry what i mean is once i build a page using page builder can i then put the main menu on that page? i have built a test page theu page builder then changed it in reading to make the test page the main page but it does not change.

also i still cant make the page fullwidth is there a code i can add to make it fullwidth

Have you enabled Page Content in Theme Options > Home Layout?
You can use the following css to make the content stretch the width of the page on the homepage:

.home .container {
    width: 100%;
}

Just paste that into your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings.

ok that worked it made the topbar and logo fullwidth but the body is still smaller and so is the slider, can i make the rest fullwidth

Which body text? For the slider I would suggest using the Fullwidth Slider.

i have it on full width but still not working and if you check site once you go to another page it defaults back to smaller width
