homepage portfolio not working

  • hey all, im trying to get this home page portfolio carousel to work, but all that shows up is the title of the portfolio.

    i have deleted all portfolios now and just want to know what to do. i followed directions and youtube but not sure what im doing wrong

    sorry i had it on carousel but now that it is on fullwidth it doesnt even show up

    I’m not seeing the site using a fullwidth slider. What size images are you adding?

    1843 x 1043 are the pictures im using

    i got the pages to stay full width, just needed to add .page-header

    Ok, Image size should be fine I still show that your not using the fullwidth slider? Is that not what your after?

    yeh when ever i put full slider option on the slider does not come up at all. the only time i can get slider to work is by using the flex slider option

    So because when I go to your site you don’t have the fullwidth enabled I have no way of being able to see why it wouldn’t be working for you. If you can enable it and leave it on I can take a look.

    What are you editing in your child theme? Have you tried just using the virtue theme to see if this is an issue with your child theme?

    it seems like the virtue theme works with slider but site looks weird. so im not sure what has changed in the child theme

    So sorry for the delay! Were you able to get things working? What exactly are you editing in your child theme?

    no i couldnt get it to work. im not sure what ive done to change it. a friend of mine did most of the child theme, i just made adjustments where i could and just learnt how to do the site.

    So what exactly are you wanting to change about your slider? Can you be more specific?

    i want the fullwidth slider, when i choose fullwidth in the settings the slider stops working and shows no slider at all

    I would suggest finding out exactly what you’re using a child theme for. If the slider is working with the regular theme, then something in your child theme is responsible for this.

    Without knowing how the child theme was edited, it’s very hard to know what might be causing the conflict between it and the slider.

    i get what your saying a friend of mine did it for me and im still learning so not sure yet,

    can you tell me what css i would use to alter the flex slider? like what heading i should use so that the css understands it
