Homepage redirecting with 302

    Hello, I hope this message finds you all well.

    My website is in 2 languages, Spanish and English, running the most updated versions of WordPress and Polylang. When a user tries to access the default language website, which is Spanish, he/she is automatically redirected to the English version. When checking on some SEO tools it reads “Unretrievable URL (302 Found)” and/or “Incorrect Hreflang link”. How could I solve this please? This only happens with the homepage, the other pages are working fine.

    The SEO tools also mention that the Hreflang X-Default tags are not set for any pages. Is there a way to solve this too please?

    Hello,

    x-default are added by Polylang on the homepage only if https://yosuancrespo.com/ is associated to no language and always redirected. This is not the case on your site as https://yosuancrespo.com/ displays the Spanish homepage so no x-default is added.

    If you don’t like the 302, deactivate the option “Detect browser language”.
