Homepage SEO not editable because the page doesn’t exist?

  • Using this link https://docs.presscustomizr.com/article/202-setting-up-wordpress-seo-with-the-customizr-theme I saw that Yoast SEO should have a “Homepage & Front page” setting for “Titles & Metas”.

    But on our blog I am met with the message “You can determine the title and description for the front page by editing the front page itself ?”. When clicked the link goes back on the same page, there’s no way I can customize the SEO on the front page.

    Could this be because Customizr doesn’t provide an actual homepage?
    Please advice, thank you!
