    hi,

    this is a very well designed theme. start to learn wordpress by trying it around.
    I donot know how to put a text overlay on the homepage slider.
    Could anyone help? thank you so much.

    Hi @meikek,

    You need to create pages for slider with content and featured image. Then assign those pages on slider from theme option.
