    Hi,

    It is difficult to troubleshoot issues without seeing the website live.

    @ilovewpcom I am having the same problem as @gauntey. I was able to see my featured content sliding image banner but it has disappeared. All of my featured pages are all still set under Customizing: Theme Options:Featured Content Blocks. Why then do I have a black rectangle where the sliding featured photos should be? Have I deleted a plugin and if so, which one?

    @amherstumc: Hi

    As I said in my previous message, it is difficult to troubleshoot such issues without at least seeing the website live.

    Try going into Customizer and unchecking/checking back the checkboxes for the Display Featured Content. That might be the issue.

    @ilovewpcom I have done that repeatedly. I went ahead and made the site live. amherstchurches.org Everything was going so well, until this happened.

    Did you do something? I see them all now!!!!! I did not change anything on my end. The featured content has been gone since 10:00 pm last night. Seriously, my day just got so much better.

    How would I be able to do anything to your website? No, I haven’t done anything.
    Everything seems to be working just fine.

    Goodness, that seemed abrupt. I am a first time wordpress user. I’m sure that’s obvious. Sorry to have bothered you.

    Just wanted to make it clear that theme developers have no control over a user’s WordPress website just because the theme is active.

    Without you providing admin credentials in some way, there is no way for a theme developer to access your website and tweak stuff.

    This issue might have been caused by whatever plugin you were using to block access to the website.

    Please let me know if the issue continues on the live website.

    Thank you for explaining further. I appreciate the help.
