• Hi. I’m running Jobify and the job listings on the home page show thumbnails of the company logos. However it automatically crops these logos into a square and, obviously, not all the logos uploaded by the customers are square, therefore they don’t show up correctly on the homepage.
I’ve unchecked the ‘crop thumbnail to exact dimensions’ in media settings to do a soft crop option, but it is not working.
How can I override the Jobify theme settings to change the square thumbnails? Or is there a plugin available, to change the automatic squares?
    Many thanks!

  • The WordPress Media size and crop settings apply only to images you upload after you set them. It does not change the images already uploaded.
You might need to use a plugin like Regenerate Thumbnails if you need to change the images that are already uploaded.
Other than that, the theme can define other image sizes for whatever it is doing. It’s hard to say whether those affect images already uploaded or not. You would need to ask in the theme’s support forum.
