Homepage vs Frontpage

  • Hey!

    I’m setting up this new website using Frost WP. I love the theme. But I’m facing a problem for which I can’t find a solution.

    I have the following pages on my website:

    * Home (Set to Front Page)
    * Free Content Strategy Guides (Set to Posts Page)

    The Posts Page shows me the “Home” template from the theme.

    Can you please share how to display the latest blog posts instead?

  • Hi, unfortunately there are some caveats with the way WordPress handles Front/Home page templates. If you are looking to have a page on your site that displays posts, my recommendation would be to unset the (Set to Posts Page) setting first. Then, inside of your blank page, add a pattern—choosing from the Posts category, which allows you to insert the Query pattern that comes with Frost.
