Homerecord/awayrecord

  • Has anyone gotten this to work? My awayrecord sits a 0-0-0 always.
    Is there something special that needs to be setup first?

    @gator8 Thanks for your question! The home/away records use the “Condition” setting of Event Outcomes, which you can access via SportsPress > Configure. Usually, these are something like:

    Win – Most Goals
    Draw – Equal Goals
    Loss – Least Goals

    The records will output the outcomes with the conditions in the order most-equal-least, so setting these up will enable this feature ??

    I should have been more specific. I already have the outcomes all set up. The problem is that ALL the outcomes are being placed in the Homerecord and NONE are being recorded in Awayrecord despite 40% of games being away games.

    OK. It’s working on a different site I manage, so I’ll try and figure out the difference.

    Here’s what I’ve found.
    I’m trying to display a 1-team league table. This is where all of the games show up as home games.
    If I display a season League table, the home/away records work. Basically, for any period you want to display, I have to include *all* of the teams we played against, or it will not work.

    @gator8 thanks for the additional details! You’re right, this was a bug that added home and away records when the other team is not in the same league table. Good find!
