• Hi. Ive noticed for the last week that when viewing the homepage with Google Chrome the photos in the sidebar are slightly blurred. This problem disappears when using Firefox.

Is this the fault of chrome, wordpress or the theme?

  • Hi @shtv
Since the problem doesn’t occur when you use a different browser, the problem doesn’t lie within the theme. You can try clearing your browser’s cache and see if that resolves your issue else let me know!

I have deleted browsing history and the problem persists. This is probably effecting all users who are using the theme. Its been going on for 2 weeks now. It effects chrome users and opera users but not firefox. large images on the homepage are clear but all the small ones have a slight blur. It looks like either the browser is loading images that are too low resolution or something else.

i have updated the colormag theme to the latest version.

Can you confirm you have tested the site with both firefox and chrome and found the same problem?

Ive found out the cause of the issue. If someone is not using 100% scaling in windows display settings the thumbnails of site will look blurred when using chrome browser. Switching it back to 100% the photos look much better. I assume chrome was not fully optimised for windows 10,
