Honey pot useless, askismet not helping

Hello,
New here with Forminator and having some problems but the biggest is your honey pot does nothing. I am getting a ton of spam on all three forms I have. This is an updated site of my old html site in which I used html forms with a basic honey pot that used a missing field to validate, it worked perfectly !
I hate capctha forms, it is a pain to keep inputting into its challenges, yes I added hcaptcha and it worked but enter 6 fish underwater twice is really necessary ?

So is there a way for me to add a hidden field and have a conditional send code that will not send if the field has content? that’w what my old html form did.

I tried just using my old forms put into the page using html but was having problems sending and decided to give forminator another shot. My coding days are long behind me, have trouble remembering what I had for breakfast.
