    Hi there,

I have searched the docs for this, and could not find what I was looking for, even though I see references to adding captchas/recaptchas since 2014.

Is there a way to add sort of a bot protection, either captcha, recaptcha or honeypot to a front-end form without using code or Gravity Forms (which is unfortunately (but understandably) not free). I was hoping I could put it somehow in a [pods] short code or something?

    Thanks in advance,

    Kobus

We do not have support for a recaptcha or honeypot, no. We probably will not because we are not a forms engine. If you require that, you should be looking at a forms engine that supports front-end editing of custom post types like Gravity Forms (with our add-on) or Caldera Custom Fields.

Thank you, Jim. I specifically can’t buy Gravity forms right now – although I really like to support plugin authors as they do deserve to make a living as well. I just can’t right now. Anyway – I will see if I can make it work with Caldera forms, but not sure how this will work without your plugin (seems you only have a Gravity forms plugin).

    Thanks for responding.

I know they support reCAPTCHA but… not sure in the free version…?
