    Hello,

The header/footer module overwrites the theme header/footer templates. You’ve added compatibility with a specific list of themes in modules/header-footer/activator.php, but other themes load your pre-defined templates. Please add an option so we can hook into this code.

    Thank you!

    Hi @bobcost

    Thanks for contacting us.

The Header and Footer of ElementsKit are created this way to override your existing theme header and footer. The condition is set to the Current Theme if it doesn’t match the mentioned theme in the activator.php file. Moreover, it’s compatible with all kinds of themes. You can also customize the Header and Footer with the Elementor page builder without our pre-made layouts.

Feel free to let us know which theme you are using or if you face any issues with the ElementsKit Header and Footer.

    Regards,

    Arif

I want to include my header and footer templates. I am using hooks inside my header and footer templates to load different theme parts, like the main navigation area and page title area. ElementsKit overrides my templates when I enable the Header/Footer functionality. Adding a hook inside the activator.php file would be best to allow theme authors to add their templates.

    Hi,

    Hope you are well.

I apologize there is no way to add a custom hook. I would request to go to the plugin Details page and add this idea as a Feature Request. We will try to add this feature in near future.

Appreciate your effort and nice idea.

    Thanks,

    Arif
