Hook Name

  • Hi,
    How do I give a hook name to ensure username and password are sent to SugarCRM as well as Nextcloud?? We use LDAP/AD so single sign on works. to reduce the burden of users entering usernames and passwords multiple times which hook do I use and how do I declare it under Hook Name??

    That’s not what the “hook name” field is for. The hook name is a unique internal ID that WordPress generates based on the menu location, type and slug. It’s also used as the HTML ID of the menu item.

    The hook name has nothing to do with SugarCRM, Nextcloud, single sign-on, user authorization or anything like that. To the best of my knowledge, there’s no way to use this – or any other – menu field to accomplish what you’re looking for. You will probably need a custom solution.
