I suddenly see many hooks woocommerce_run_product_attribute_lookup_update_callback in the Scheduled Actions. I don’t remember pushing any buttons or scheduling any hooks. Is this normal behaviour?

    Hi @bb3cpo,

The hook woocommerce_run_product_attribute_lookup_update_callback is triggered upon WC database update and is a non-repeating recurrence. If the actions are pending you can manually run them by hovering over the hook and clicking the Run button.

If you want more control and see what’s happening in your WP-Cron system it’s recommended to install the WP Crontrol plugin – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-crontrol/.

    Thanks.

Follow-up question: If they are triggered only upon WC db update how do they keep appearing in my installation when I haven’t updated WC? Is there a cron event that could possibly trigger them too? I’ve downloaded WP Crontrol and looking for a solution. Thanks

    Hey @bb3cpo

Could you please send us a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find this report by navigation to WooCommerce > Status on your website. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.?

Once you’ve done that, can you then paste the contents of the report into your next response for us?

As this seems to be a problem that appears whenever I run an XML import using the plugin WP All Import, I’m going to mark this issue temporarily resolved and get back with any info in the future.

    Hey @bb3cpo

We will be waiting to hear from you, thanks!

I’ll mark this thread as resolved now. If you have any further questions, I recommend creating a new thread.

I am having this same issue. I specifically have it when importing a csv of products. The number of woocommerce_run_product_attribute_lookup_update_callback actions fail to complete and seem to clogged up other schedule actions. if selecting “run”, the task completes. In other threads it seems safe to cancel which I have been testing.

I am new to the forum but it seems misleading to have this thread marked “Resolved”

I have same problem! When i run an import with wpallimport tons of woocommerce_run_product_attribute_lookup_update_callback scheduled. And often they send my server down!
Is there a hook to disable it during import?
It is necessary tu run all this request to database?
