Hooking after password reset

The forgot password form is using the wp_set_password function, you can see it here https://github.com/WPUserManager/wp-user-manager/blob/master/includes/wpum-forms/class-wpum-form-password-recovery.php#L406

Unfortunately at the moment there isn’t an hook for that form. Your only other alternative is to replace the wp_set_password with your own version.

wp_set_password is a pluggable function, which means you can replace it with your own version in your theme for example https://core.trac.www.ads-software.com/browser/tags/5.2.1/src/wp-includes/pluggable.php#L2475

I’ll also be adding some hooks into the forgot password and change password form into the next update. Next update is scheduled for next week.

I’ve just released the new update. 2 new hooks have been added to the forms that handle passwords.

Hello and thank you for this effort.

In my case I wish to hook at the point where they have submitted their request to change the password but before it is saved to the database. In this way I can run our own password criteria plugin against the value supplied.

Do you know which this would be?
