• I am trying to hook PayPal Standard up to my e-Commerce shopping cart. WordPress’s instructions say:

    1. Browse to PayPal and sign up using your email address
    2. Under Profile > Shipping Settings check the allow transaction-based shipping values to override the profile shipping settings listed above

On the PayPal site, under Profile, there is NO Shipping Settings choice available. Does anyone know what needs to be done on PayPal to hook e-Commerce up? Their site is a nightmare, and both their “email” and “phone” help pages are broken.

WordPress’s instructions also say to “Setup your payment gateway,” but gives no ideas what the various set-up options mean. I’m specifically wondering about the “send forms to gateway” section, where you can choose billing OR shipping fields to send (but there’s no “state” available under the billing section?)

Currently, every time I try to process a sale, I get a screen (when the process accesses the buyer paypal account) saying it can’t deal with it.

Does anyone know how to hook PayPal standard up to e-Commerce? It’s supposed to be simple!?
