I have tried to use the facebook and woocommerce plugin to get my products on my facebook shop.. the plugin did not work (it kept showing items out of stock and everything i was told to try did not work.) so i decided to just install the pixel myself. I downloaded the pixelyouursite and added all the info..

now I went back to my facebook catalog-shop to added the pixel and I get this error… do I need to add microdata to get the pixel to work.. as i said before the plugin for facebook and woocommerce doesn’t work for me.

To connect a Meta Pixel as a data source:

This pixel’s microdata is incomplete or incorrectly formattedTo use this pixel to add or update items in your catalog, you need to install the required microdata tags on your website.

    Hello @herasdog,

I’m sorry to hear that you encountered difficulties while configuring our extension. The Pixel feature is supported out of the box with the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin, so there’s no need for any special configuration.

At this point, I’m uncertain if you intend to continue using our plugin or if you’d like to complete the setup of PixelYourSite. If you choose to keep using Facebook for WooCommerce, please disable any other third-party pixel integrations, as they may cause conflicts with our plugin.

To verify that the pixel from our plugin is functioning correctly, you can use the Meta Pixel Helper browser extension.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

    Thanks.
