Hopefully the author will take back this plugin to life

  • I’ve beed searching on Google different alternative as proofreader. This plugin have been even recommended and reviewd on different sites.

    At least for those who are supporting this work, would ne nice they don’t love the face due its author loss of interests.

    This plugin outdate by 1 year and support seems to be ignored. The purpose of this post is to leave a message to its Author. Saving the hope he will bring back to life this plugin, and fix the several bugs reported.

    Not everyone is interested to install Jetpack when they only want 1 single specific solution.

    I just ran a P3 profile test (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/p3-profiler/) of TinyMCE Spellcheck against Jetpack (only Spell and Grammar check was enabled in Jetpack). The test shows that TinyMCE Spellcheck is about 20 times faster to load than Jetpack. So for all of us not using all the other features of Jetpack it would be really great to have an independent Spell and Grammar checker.

    The current version needs some updates to ensure compatibility with WP 4.4.1 and some options to enable spellchecker for other users than admin.

    I hope that the author will reconsider updating this great plugin.
