• I have NextGen Gallery Pro 1.0.10 and I’m trying to use the Horizontal Filmstip Template.

    THE SETUP:
I have [nggallery id=1] tag on my page.

Within the gallery settings / NextGen Gallery Compact, I have the template selected to Horizontal Filmstrip.

    THE PROBLEM:
My thumbnails below the Image Viewer are cut off from the top and bottom(height: 90px) because my photos are all portrait(height: 180px).

When looking at the page source using Firebug, it shows that each div holding the image has a “style” attribute with the height set to 90px.

    QUESTION:
Does anyone know where I can manually change the height to be 180px? My thumbnail images themselves are the right dimensions, it just seems that no matter what settings I change, the style attribute with height: 90px, still stays there.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Wish I can edit my post or delete my double post(sorry).

But I figured something else out that has me puzzled.

When downloading the thumbnails from my gallery folder in Dreamweaver, the image looks correct with the right aspect ratio and all. But when I view the image on the server it gets cut off on top and bottom.

    Example Image

However, if I right click on the thumbnail that is used within NGGallery(used in the Manage Galleries page) it has something appended to the end of the .jpg file name.

And that seems to display the whole picture as I need it. This seems like a bug to me.
