Horizontal floating bar Appears behind footer

Firstly, great work on the plug-in. It does everything it needs to do.

I have just one small issue. The floating bar appear behind the footer. Not a huge problem on the desktop because I can shift it up a bit. But on the mobile, the horizontal sticky bar continues to the bottom of the footer, and pokes out the bottom. It would not be a problem if it stayed hidden, but the poking out looks terrible.

I am using an Elated theme with a footer element I figure there is something which makes the footer overlay everything. Please can you advise on a solution. Either of the following two would suffice

1) Can you over-overlay?
2) Can you eliminate the part which automatically instructs to make more space for the horizontal floating bar at the bottom?
