• Hello WordPress-Community!

I’ve searched the web for about 2 hours now and haven’t found the right thing… now i hope, that you could help me.

On the following website you can see a little menu with “start” “motion” “web” and “print”. By clicking on one of them, the content of slides to the sides while the new content comes in. This is done via flash, argh. ??

Now i’ve set up a fresh wordpress-site and tried to reach such a slide transition with a plugin (would be great) or something else.
Here’s my fresh site, when clicking on a menu label the same thing should happen. I found sliders that change pictures or something else, but i guess that’s not what i need.

Maybe you could give me a hint (even if you don’t like the transition) on a good plugin or some code… i read something about ajax or jquery but don’t know what’s the best way.

Thank you very much for your help!
    Frank

  • You can try Roster Slider Plugin available on SliderVilla.com. You can have that kind of content slider with the plugin for different slides. You can also customize the link on the slider to move the visitor on certain DIV so that it will look like a sliding content opener as well.

I am looking to do a similar thing.

Being able to apply jquery BXslider to pages (instead of li’s or div’s) would be ideal. Is there a way of using a redirect plug in (e.g. Fischer’s Quick Post/Page redirect) to allow animated horizontal scrolling of pages/ posts ?

I am new to WP and currently it seems to me that it would be easier to just write from scratch, but I’d really like to use wordpress for it’s CMS, for my client’s sake ..

    Any ideas welcome …
    Thanks in anticipation.

    Alice
